Birds saw in Richmond

Aside from working from home most of this week, I went out twice to do some bird-watching and six times to dine out.  Here are the birds we saw on Thursday (at Terra Nova) and Saturday (at Richmond Nature Park).

The first thing I saw at the park was two people near the hummingbird feeder photographing this Anna's Hummingbird (Calypte anna).

Black-capped Chickadee (Poecile atricapillus)
Got several close-up shots of a chickadee.  Too bad a branch was behind the scene.

Flying back to Ottawa this evening.  Time to return to school and re-enter the freezing winter.
