Birds, insects, and flowers of the community garden

I tried to look for the hummingbird again this afternoon at the community garden.  It might had been too hot because very few things were active, except for insects and a few birds.  Here are some of them.

Young unknown sparrow.

Honey bee burrowing deep into the flower.

Waxwing at top of tree.

Not really successful today in terms of the kind of photos I hoped to capture.

One of the several ladybugs on this aphid-infested dandelion.

Pollen-covered beetle.

Skipper drinking in the shade.

A Seven-spotted Ladybug hiding next to a clover.

Sunflower.

So much sun today.
